I might have overindulged a wee bit this past weekend. There were parties and hors de ouvres and late night food runs and glasses and glasses of wine. And although I’ve been getting in some good runs, I’m still feeling the effects of letting my guard down for several days in a row. Effects like some extra belly that definitely wasn’t there last week.
To add to that, because Jared and I have both been gone, we don’t have much in the way of food in our house. I think there’s an egg in the fridge, and fortunately, there was a bag of goldfish in one of the swag bags I brought home, but not much else. Oh, except for THIS:

This Tropicana gift basket could be yours! Well, not THIS one, because that would be gross, but one very similar.
I came home to this beautiful gift basket of fruit and juice, courtesy of Tropicana. I’m going back to Chicago for an event with them this weekend called “Get Your Fruit On,” and you’d better believe that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. I mean, I love pizza and tacos, but a crisp apple and a juicy orange are pretty damn delicious, too.
Especially when it’s free!
You can win a gift basket of your own. All you need to do is leave a comment telling me what your favorite fruit or juice is. And, if you’re feeling particularly gracious, you can also include anything you’d like me to ask Tropicana while I’m there. Now get started — leave a comment and share this contest with your friends! I’ll randomly select a winner on Friday evening, at 8pm ET, so you have just a few days to enter. Get a move on!

I’ll play! I used to work in a juice bar years ago, and I can say I am quite devoted to fruits and juices in all their many forms. Right now my favorite fruits are grapes, bing cherries, or a really crisp apple. (I can never pick favorites). Juice-wise, I can drink gallon upon gallon of OJ as if my life depended on it.
Does Tropicana make a any vegetable-blend juices? If not will they? A good carrot-orange or carrot-apple blend is killer. Or beet! Add beet to those and call me happy.

Love grapes (fermented or not) and OJ of course is grand. Kudos to Tropicana.

I like grapefruit juice better than orange, but when I do buy orange I actually prefer Tropicana (the one without ANY pulp).

Right now Ranier cherries! And my favorite juice is always orange, after a really hard dance class or workout.

Grapes, cherries, peaches.plums
Love them all. Can’t have grapefruit or grapefruit juice because of my medication so Cranberry is my juice of choice. Tropicana 50% less sugar sits right next to it in my fridge.

I dig the pulp free juice too! It’s my drink of choice when I’m feeling under the weather.

I especially like grapefruit juice with rum, simple syrup and a little club soda and lime. It is called a Hemingway Daiquiri. It’s good but it looks ugly so serve it in a coffee cup the way he drank it.

I love to eat fruits and my kids drink them (does that count)?
I eat some sort of fruit everyday! Grapes, bananna, watermelon, cantalope, oranges, tangerines…you get the picture!
I buy the apple juice and fruit juice for my kids to drink. They also bring them in the small size to school.

Oh my I love mango juice. But there really aren’t any fruits I’d turn down

Papaya is one of my faves. But there’s nothing like a nice, cold glass of OJ in the morning!

I love a good crisp green apple. With a little peanut butter to go with it. I actually found this peanut butter that is mixed with dark chocolate. mmmmmmmm. That’s still healthy right?

I love love love kiwis and pineapple when it comes to fruit.
And a fabulous fruit juice blend I adore at the moment is cranberry blueberry, but Tropicana Orange juice has always been a classic go-to favorite!

I love just plain pulp free OJ. Love it!

I love fruit of all kinds. At the moment, bing cherries, nectarines, blueberries, raspberries and watermelon fill my fridge. Soooo good!

Love the OJ with tons of pulp! Yum! Also, not a question but you can tell the Tropicana folks I dig what they got going on!

What a great basket of goodies!
I would say my favorite fruit would be strawberries, then kiwi. Did you try the yellow kiwi at BlogHer? Weren’t those great?

Yummy!! I’m a pretty simple girl so orange does it for me. Although ok, I saw someone mention mango and that sounds fantastic!!

Juice and fruit is definitely one great way to detox after a party-filled weekend! This gift basket looks delicious! Favorite juice… I’d have to say grapefruit juice but fresh squeezed OJ comes in a close second.

How about those Fiji apples? They’re always sweet and when they’re cold? Absolutely fabulous – do you think you could ask Tropicana how about if we make a combination of mango orange juice “popsicles” for the summer? make them at home even! Great website!

My favorite fruit is raspberries. My favorite juice is probably Acai, but it stains my teeth, so I usually drink Tropicana orange juice with lots of pulp. And, I agree with Connie…I like my grapes better if they are fermented!

I love a good red delicious apple. Other apples are good as well, but there is something about those big red apples.

Right now, it’s summertime, so berries, melons and stone fruits are the rule. We eat alot of mixed fresh fruit. Our juices can go from ever-present OJ to cranberry, cider (seasonal), and now pomegranate blends have my interest, generally mixed with seltzer. Thanks, Tropicana, for a consistently excellent product.
